About Kesler Simpson Architects

Andrew Kesler began the firm as a sole proprietorship in September, 2009. In January, 2013, Mark Simpson joined the firm as a Principal and the name was changed to reflect the shared vision of the two partners. Kesler Simpson Architects, LLC (KSA) is a full-service firm providing complete architecture services. The firm has experience in renovation and new construction of commercial, military, industrial, US Postal Service, Material Recycling Facilities and waste management, retail, hospitality, religious and medical projects. KSA is a local small business located in Lexington, Kentucky and holds licenses in eighteen states.

KSA believes in remaining actively involved in the project process from planning, design and throughout the construction process. It is our belief that open communication with the contractor is necessary to get the best project. KSA consistently works to assist in interpretation of documents and to develop solutions to issues that arise during construction.

During design, KSA works to minimize change orders through comprehensive construction documents. We implement an internal quality control program that reduces errors and omissions. In construction, KSA scrutinizes field requests for change orders striving to ensure the actual need, cost and solution are appropriate to the request. It is inherent in our construction administration philosophy to be in constant communication with the client and contractor as construction issues arise and thereby avoid delays and unnecessary duplication of effort.
